Karen Strickler
Director of Investment Services
Karen joined the PalomarWealth team in April 2005 as an office professional intern through Illinois Central College. After graduation, she accepted a full-time position and obtained state life and health insurance licenses. As her role evolved, the team recognized a strong aptitude for investment services, leading her to earn the Series 7 and Series 66 securities licenses in 2009. Today, Karen serves as Director of Investment Services, providing behind-the-scenes support through trade execution, account monitoring, and assistance with clients’ investment service needs.
Known for her sense of humor, Karen brings a positive and engaging presence to the office. Outside of work, she is an avid reader—reading and listening to an average of 200 books each year—and enjoys spending time at home with her husband, children, and cats.
Karen believes there are too many great quotes to choose a favorite, but one that resonates with her is, “Never let anyone dull your sparkle.” It serves as a reminder to remain confident and is a trait she strives to instill in her two children.
