Local Missions & Action Teams
The entire PalomarWealth team researches community organizations and selects organizations to support. Learn more about these featured organizations on our Facebook page. We frequently use Thrivent Action Teams to supply funding to support our charitable efforts.
As a reminder, Thrivent members may have access to 1-2 Action teams a year to provide seed money for a charitable project of their choice. Our goal is inform and support our clients' Action Teams, please let us know if you have questions about how to utilize your Action Teams! View the Thrivent Action Teams Hub here.

Sponsorships
Our practice has partnerships with many community organizations. The practice is proud to support:
Peoria Area: Children’s Home Association of Illinois, Wildlife Prairie Park, & Concordia Lutheran School.
Decatur Area: LSA, Baby Talk, and Cars & Coffee.

Thrivent Community Program
The Thrivent Community program is a part of the Thrivent Member Network, where Financial Professionals bring clients and their families and friends together to make an impact locally.
Past Community programs:
- Assembling newborn baby gift bags with BabyTalk Decatur
- Creating blankets for the OSF Children's Hospital
- Supplying the Almost Home Children's Center with needed items
- Building kits for the Dream Center Peoria Shelter
- Donating trail cleaning supplies and tools the Peoria Park District for special events

Employee Volunteer Program
The purpose of PalomarWealth’s volunteer program is to support volunteer activities that enhance and serve the communities in which we live and work. The intention of this program is to create community engagement opportunities for our employees that are meaningful, purposeful and address issues that impact quality of life. At the same time, we recognize that participating in these activities will also enrich and inspire the lives of our employees. ‘Community’ is not defined as just local community but may encompass a global perspective. Each employee receives a paid day every quarter to volunteer.
